Our MISSION
The mission of the Dallas Firefighter’s Museum is to collect, preserve, and present the history and cultural heritage of the Department, to honor its fallen heroes, and to provide fire prevention, protection, and all-hazards life safety education to the public, especially children.

We partner with Fire Department Educators on educational programming throughout the year at the museum. From summer camps, to special exhibits, to educational contest we have it all. We also have unique education technology you can place in your curriculum.

When you come to the Dallas Firefighter's Museum you will be guided through a tour with real firefighters. The museum is not only managed but operated daily by active and retired firefighters. They will know how to answer you and your children's special questions and bring a unique aspect to your tour as you learn about the legacy and history of firefighting.
